The first has more detail, but the second speaks (or rather whispers) to me much more subtly and eloquently. I like its ethereal, dreamlike quality very much. It brings to mind an old Chinese or Japanese painting.

Thank you, Gary. I have a color version of the first one, which I think works better. But you’re right that the second one is the more successful more here. I love how you’ve described it.

I like the second best. The near white background makes it more abstract. If music could be visualized, I think it might look like this.
