Lines and dots of bubbles in the frozen pond with a bit of scattered frost on top.
This practically weightless little golden spiral (maybe remains of fern sprout?) has left its mark on the pond. You can see the circular indentation in the ice. I’m fascinated that something so small and light could make such an impact. The backdrop, in case it is difficult to make out, is frozen bubbles captured beneath the surface of the pond.
