  5. The subject of blue has come up on my blog a couple of times lately. This is a nice shade and looks nice with the red (pine needles?) in the background.

    • Thank you, Steve. I’m glad you like the blue. I did enhance the color a bit here, and yes, I think those are pine needles. I edged them more into the red zone to round out how I was seeing the image in my mind.

      • Under certain conditions, submerged pine needles can be quite red so they look natural even if you did help them out.
