Our first attempt at blowing bubbles and watching them freeze. Unfortunately, it was not cold enough (only low 20s) for them to freeze quickly enough or last long enough (despite our fail-proof recipe) to capture them in their full spherical splendor. After all of our efforts, we can only offer you a blurry bit of a half bubble. But at least it is a very bright bubble! 😊

As I said, I was only just getting started with the freezer obsession.🤓 I think I’m more interested in discovering what happens to the water around whatever it is that I’m freezing than the object itself. Or at least excited to see how it changes how I view the object I’ve frozen. Everything freezes differently! It’s like opening a present every time I open the freezer drawer. I can’t wait to see what’s in there! Have you ever seen broccoli like this?!
