    • Thank you so much–such a kind thing to say. I have thought of you several times in recent weeks, as I have been able to go back to Helen Krause. Vanessa is still doing so well there. We had a happy reunion. πŸ™‚

I’m so glad Vanessa is doing well, and that you are able to return to Helen Krause. I was sorry that Vanessa seems to be a lifer there, but grateful that she landed someplace safe. Thank you for the update.

  4. I am among the many who missed your posts, Lemony. I hope you have been well during this challenging time. Dandelions are underappreciated and at this time of the year are so important to waking pollinators. Lovely framing and detail.

    • So kind of you, Steve! Yes, I agree about dandelions. They are so fascinating when you see them up close in all of their different stages. I saw your reply to my comment I left for you, and yes, I was so very sad not to be able to take ice pictures this year. 😦 I hope to have a chance to catch up with all you have been up to over on your site; I know I have missed out on some gems in the last many months!

      • This year was a bit disappointing for ice after last year but there were a few good opportunities.I hope whatever kept you out of the field wasn’t too dire. I missed all of autumn 2018 with West Nile Virus so know how frustrating it can be to not be able to pursue what you love. But….you are back now and we are all looking forward to enjoying your future efforts. πŸ™‚
