I appreciate your candid feedback, but why would you want to discourage me from playing and experimenting?

Nothing of the sort– I feel like social media and wordpress are overflowing with nothing but people who ‘like’ everything– Not trying to discourage anyone, just trying to break the pattern of ‘blindly liking everything’ and to say the truth when something is terrible / when something sucks. Just thought your past work was better than the sloppy mess of the last few posts you’ve made.

I see. And I agree. Telling me to “stick to flowers,” however, suggested to me that I needed just to stay over in my corner with my little botanicals. (If you refer to my tag list you will notice I photograph quite a bit more than just flowers). It would be more constructive, if you are going to take the time to offer actual criticism, which I, and I am sure others, do appreciate, if you could be more specific rather than simply characterizing a person’s posts as a sloppy mess. Perhaps you could ask a person whose work you find so awful what it is she or he is aiming for, and then suggest *how* that objective might be better achieved. Dismissing a person’s experiment without some suggestion for how to improve it isn’t particularly helpful.

No. I don’t have to do any of these things. I can make the comment however I see fit. I can tell that a few simple words have really “triggered” you, take a deep breath– And don’t worry, I won’t waste time commenting on your site again! 🙂
