Why does this give me the impression of a five-rayed starfish? Beautiful shot. Desaturation works well … lends a softness that I like. D

I can see how it would give you that impression… Thank you for this feedback about the image. The original version is strikingly saturated in deep blues and purples, but some days, often actually, color is too much for me. Through this play with botanical ice collage, I’m gradually reacquainting myself. 🙂
