Your work sends me. When I see it, I go to my most cherished ideal in painting, Andrew Wyeth and find the quotes which most fit how I feel seeing your pieces: “I can’t work completely out of my imagination. I must put my foot in a bit of truth; and then I can fly free”; and “I dream a lot. I do more painting when I’m not painting. It’s in the subconscious”; and, “Artists today think of everything they do as a work of art. It is important to forget about what you are doing – then a work of art may happen”. Yours, dear Lemony, seem to just happen–and do, as a result, ‘fly free’.

Such beauty in something that would normally be seen only as dead and torn up. Lovely.

Another in a wonderful series. I still can’t get over the crispness and clarity of all of these. Really, really nice. D

Thank you, D. I think the Leica Macro lens makes a difference.

Perfect balance – I really like the intensity of that blue/ green against the expanse of golden brown.
