Hi, Pam and Sam! I’m glad you like the pod! It is a good shape for fall, isn’t it. 🙂

Thanks Lemony. I have been in touch with the inimitable George too. I am not in shock … for I have been reading along with the hints she has been dropping and between the lines … but am, of course, saddened. She has been an inspiration though. I only wish I had just a little bit of her strength. How are you? I ask because George let, perhaps, a little bit of a something slip in one of our exchanges. I hope you are well and enjoying the beautiful fall colors. D

Thank you, D. I’m fine, just learning to manage some impairments I have developed as a result of a neurological condition. It is a beautiful fall here, after a very mild summer. I hear we’re in for a harsh winter. I hope all is well with you and J. 🙂

So nice to see this reply and to know you’re ‘managing.’ In the light of these words, your recent post makes better sense (or, at least, your words here allow me to put a somewhat different spin on the recent post). As we get just a wee bit older, we all must adjust to one ‘thing’ or another. I am sorry you have found it necessary to ‘manage.’ A bummer indeed. So glad to see, however, that the camera is still near and that you’ve put it to good use. Hope to see more lovely images shortly. It’s quite muggy here today … uncomfortably warm … before the rain, which we anticipate tomorrow. D

Oh, my! This reminds me of a Japanese lantern and the most delicious ice cream at the same time! I chuckled since I thought of how delicious it would taste! I love the soft colors and tones of it. It is one of my very favorites from all of your work. As you might have known when you posted it. 🙂 Thank you, Lemons!

🙂 I’m happy you like it, George, and am especially glad you thought of how it might taste. 🙂 I thought of a Japanese lantern, too.

🙂 Thank you, Ogee. I’ve missed you, too! I hope all is well with the pups and the garden!

The pups are good. The garden looks like it has endured a long hot, dry summer…because it has! Send rain, please. 🙂
