My first thought was “Kathe Kollwitz”! You know, the workers with outstretched arms. The etchings.

What an intriguing image. George & I had similar thoughts. For a split second it looked like figures stretching their arms to the sky and the Medieval painter Bosch came to my mind. Is there a subliminal message in this composition ? 🙂

There’s something gothic about this – reminds me of Night of the Hunter. The corn is so present you can almost feel it.

Rather eerie and spooky–I keep looking for eyes looking back. Very appropriate for this time of year. Do you take part in any Halloween activities over there?
