Yes – I would like to! When i was a child I used to climb such huge spruces with radial branches. I felt like the king of the world and were able to overlook miles! I should do this again these times…

Great fun to be on top of the world! Yes, you should go tree climbing!

I don’t think this one is good to climb. 🙂
(branches are too thin and dense)

The branches are maybe a bit thicker than they appear here, I don’t know. I may give it a try to see. 😉

Yeeees! Shoot from the Top!
But don’t forget to secure yourself 😉

Between the branches, there need to have enough space or gap for a body to go through. And if the body was kept away from the trunk, the angle to stance on the branch would be not parallel to the trunk, and the branch will brake. —– easy to try and see it yourself 😉
(I did it hundreds of times in the mountain and jungle.) 🙂

There is a bit of a path up the middle, as might be visible here, where one (a slender someone) could just go straight up, in between the branches on the sides, using the branches for handles and steps.. No? We’ll see. 🙂

M m m —– how big this tree ?
I thought, the trunk is about 1.5′ in diameter.
If it was more than 3′ = may be the gap is just though, as
the climber can no longer hug the trunk, it become quite uncomfortable dangerous climb.

That looks like a long and tricky climb….and a little spiky!

This is very intriguing. Draws you in and suggests an entry way into another world. Perhaps, it is an aspect of Yggdrasil, the world tree, reaching up from Midgard. 🙂

Perhaps I’ll encounter Níðhöggr when I climb it? 🙂

The say Níðhöggr Beer has a peppery bite to it. 😀

Not me-I fell out of a tree when i was a kid and got to spend all summer in a body cast.

Oh goodness, Allen! That’s terrible! Hope there weren’t any lasting effects from the fall.

Thatnks Melanie. Other than an occasional back ache, I’ve been fine. If you’ve got to fall out of a tree 14 is a good age to do it-the bones knit themselves together better.
