Very elegant! Does he like the violine? I’d suppose, that this might not be his favourite instrument…
We had a burmese tomcat, that went wild when he heard hurdy-gurdies 😉

Wasn’t he got excited with the wheel and the pedaling foot, not with the sound. 😀

Haha! No – it was the voice. He probably heard monsters, meowing cats, howling wind, whatever…
He tried to attack the hurdy-gurdy 😉

Thank you, Stefan. No, you’re right, Atticus isn’t too fond of the violin. 🙂 That’s pretty funny about your burmese tomcat and the hurdy-gurdy.

Atticus looks quite happy up on top of the piano…..waiting for the concert to begin perhaps??

Yes, he was quite settled in there. It is one of his favorite spots UNTIL the music starts. 😉

Well, I do love cats and violins both. And usually cats, even more than violins. Very nice.

Wonderful. You’d be right at home in our house then, Shimon. 🙂 Thank you very much for your nice comment, and for the visit.

what a splendid way to immerse yourself with the better things in life ! (was he named after the Atticus in the novel ‘To kill a mockingbird’? a truly fine character that is)

Thank you, Katrien. Yes, Atticus is indeed named after Atticus Finch. 🙂

Cats like to stay somewhere high on top.
(and jump onto the shoulder)
Doesn’t he chase your fingers playing on the key ?
Or you just smack him off 😀

Atticus doesn’t usually stick around once the music starts. 😀 Too much noise for his delicate ears.

Cats, violins, pianos and retro prints…..
Thats my kinda house you have there!
🙂

Why thank you, Stuart! It’s our kinda house, too. We love it (when we’re not dealing with the many problems that come up in old homes). It’s a Victorian house, built in 1900. Lots of character. 🙂
Thanks for the visit, Stuart!

Talking of visits I’m free for christmas…I don’t mind sharing the top of the piano with Atticus.
🙂

😀 I’m sure Atticus would be happy to share.

I’ll bring catnip…

Ah, I would happily join Stuart! 😉 I hated the sound of the piano about as much as Atticus for many years because Lucy forced all three of us to take piano lessons. I played London Bridge, badly, in a recital. I think that must have been the end of my musical training. I like this image very much.
