I love how you notice those things. That hadn’t caught my eye until you mentioned it. 🙂

Looks like an astronomy picture. Very nice.

Thank you, Frank! That’s what I love about the pond. While there is nothing more earthly than our pond, the images it holds are extraterrestrial.

Strangely, charming 🙂

I’m glad you find it so. 🙂

Almost like images from space…..

Yes, it’s both earthly and out of this world, our little pond. 🙂

Sort of looks like a jellyfish! : )

🙂 I see what you mean!

When I look at this I hear small children trying to play celestial music. It’s wonderful – the colour is really subtle.

I love that! Thanks, Richard!

There’s so much art out there in Nature World, it’s just a question of looking and seeing it and your eyes are perfectly tuned in. Great shot Melanie!

Those bubbles look like they are faceted like cut stones.
January 20, 2013 at 12:58 pm
Yes, I’ve thought the same thing. The designs on some of the bubbles I see are so intricate.

Extra terrestrial.

I love everything about this! Love the colors, the layout, the combination of shapes. I’d love to make a painting just like this and then letter a quote on it. Permission to use this as inspiration??

Wow, Miss Maura, thank you! What generous words and an interesting idea! Yes, you may use this image as inspiration for a painting. If you do end up using it, will I be able to see the painting? I hope so! 🙂 Looking forward to it.

Either an alien landscape or a face of one eyed space pirate. 🙂

I see him! The pirate! 🙂
