Full Moon on Little Webb Pond

Full Moon

I’ve come full circle on WP.  This is my one-year anniversary for this photography blog.  Hooray!  I send my deepest thanks out to all of you who have followed me throughout this year.  Your comments, suggestions, questions, and humor have been a source of great delight and support to me.  I look forward to our continued exchanges in the coming year! Many thanks and all best wishes!

  1. Congratulation ! I think this fulfilled circle can not be just a
coincidence. It’s a sign to reward your dedication and the effort.
It’s signify, you are on the right course on your Karma.

    • Thank you very much, Yoshi-sensei, for your words and all of the support you’ve shown these last many months. I am honored that you take the time to offer your thoughts about my photographs. The careful attention and encouragement you have brought through your visits has meant a great deal to me.

  2. Congratulations on your anniversary, Melanie! What a superb shot to celebrate with – and slightly reminiscent of the first works I saw of yours – simultaneously ethereal and grounded and always beautiful.

    • Wow, thank you, Richard. What a very nice compliment. It’s been so great having you visit my blog this year. I appreciate your feedback very much. I’ve told you before that your comments are always so amazingly insightful. Sometimes you even see where I’m going with a shot almost better than I do! I just want you to know how grateful I am for the time you spend here. Your presence on WP through your own fabulous blog, and your generous contributions to others through your feedback is really wonderful.

The U.F.O. was sighted hovering over Lemony’s Frozen Pond . This corresponds in the Mayan Calendar with the anniversary of Lemony’s blog. Coincidence ? I think not ! 😀
You are going to have a book/gallery exhibit the way this series is going. 🙂

    • Ha ha 😀 I may be beamed up if we’re not careful. In fact, I might already be posting from another dimension. Thank you, Joseph, for your very kind words, and especially for all the encouragement you’ve shown! Your feedback means so much to me!

  7. I didn’t realize that you started blogging here in January. So did I. Congratulations on a year of really fine images. I have enjoyed and admired them. This one is perfect for the anniversary. It really does look like a moon against the bare trees in the snow. Beautiful interpretation of pond ice! 🙂

    • Yes, yes, we started at the same time, George! It was clearly a great time to start! I remember your first images very well, actually. Your posts have been unforgettable all along the way. Thank you for your encouragement and honesty. Sometimes you were the only one to tell me you didn’t like an image, and so when you say you DO like something, it means all the more. Here’s to another wonderful year to come! Hope you’re going to stick out with me! 🙂

    • Hey, thanks, Michael! You are very kind to say that. I need to stop in and see what you’ve been up to. Is your blog not feeding into WP anymore? Or have you taken a break? I was away myself for a bit in December, so I may have missed something, but am back for a new start. Hope your new year has gotten off to a great start. ~Lemony
