The light play on the walls is wonderful in the late afternoons. 🙂

Am I wrong to be seeing things in these? There’s so much going on, but nothing explicitly stated. They’re really compelling.

I see things, too, but it’s all in our imagination. It’s just the light playing tricks on us. 🙂

I am really liking this new series of yours, Melanie, and I’m getting inspired to do more experimentation with abstracts, too. I thank you for this!

Ripples on the surface of a sun washed pond-that’s what these remind me of.

Sun-washed describes exactly how the walls look in the late afternoon. It’s such a rich and warm color.

Fabulous, I wonder where that portal might take you? somewhere magical, I think.

Every time I see the lights and shadows playing on the wall, I’m just certain a new world is going to open up! My little one thinks fairies must be in there. 🙂

A mysterious light and the title made the following connection for me. “The Beckoning Fair One” by Oliver Onions. Doesn’t help that I listen to BBc4 extra crime & supernatural radio dramas on Saturday. 🙂

Ha ha ha! 🙂 I love that!
