Beautiful shots !
Now I realized, you got Leiz Macro Elmer lens ! = much more expensive than the camera itself.
The quality of the lens fully extracted by your patience on Zen mind = no competition 😀

PS: It seems I made mistake, the camera I saw in the shop was Gx-1.
But your camera = Lx-1 could have done all of your photography, was even more
remarkable —– obviously, you managed to push it to the limit (or even beyond).

Hi, yoshizen: just a quick note with more info later: I have an LX5 with a Leica lens, and love it. Thank you so much for your kind words about my photographs!

Sorry I’ve been a bit too nosy —– it was my bad habit to be an Ex-technical writer.
—– now technology and the production system has gone to too complicated. (And too many models)
Sigh ! May be I should rather stay in old technology 😀

🙂 Tee hee hee.
Steve’s comment made my day!
Awesome shots Melanie! I’m really impressed with the detail, and the bokeh.
What lens do you use?
June 19, 2012 at 11:49 pm
Ha ha! Steve is hilarious. I’m glad you like the shot. I just use a Panasonic Lumix LX5 for all of my photographs. No lens changing involved. It’s a great little camera. It has a Leica lens.

I know, I felt a little out of place taking the photograph. 😳
