You are so kind, Canon. Thank you for these lovely words. I’m so behind on visits. I’m eager to stop over and see what wonderful things you’ve been doing.

Can you believe it’s a hummingbird feeder?! It was glistening in light, and I couldn’t help but try to capture the golden hues.

Your abstracts are stunning…..”lemony” and orange are a wonderfully vibrant combination too…….

Thank you, Pam. I always feel like I’m taking big risks with my abstracts (I have what feels like a strange perspective sometimes and worry that others won’t care for what I see). A comment like this is very reassuring.

Artists of all types have to take risks sometimes to explore their own talent! We also have to realize that not everyone will “get” what we’re trying to say with our work but if just one person does – we’ve met our goal…..keep up the creative work!

You’re spot on, Joanna. It’s the crackled glass of a hummingbird feeder. Like you, I was completely drawn to the colors.

Are we looking at something red through a bowl of lemon jelly? I love it whatever it is.

I love that idea! I’ll have to try it. 🙂 Thanks for your comment. I’m glad you like the shot. It’s actually a hummingbird feeder.

Exquisite abstracts. I especially love the second one. I would frame that one and hang that in my house, Melanie. Lovely!
