    • Well, I’m hooked now! I have hundreds of photographs and am going after every dandelion I see ๐Ÿ™‚ It’s become a sickness. ๐Ÿ™‚

    This one is not a static photograph. There are about ten or so of the heads “swimming” through this frame in a curve from the bottom right (facing me) to the top just off center. I really like the movement in this one with the water droplets and the graceful silken filaments. I didn’t think you could find another way to photograph a dandelion. I was wrong. This one is beautiful.

    • Thank you, George. I’m so glad you see the movement in the image. I feel like I could do better with this, and now can’t wait for it to rain again, so I can try again. I’d like for the rain drops to be clearer, but I noticed how they cling to and are blurred by the filaments that we see through them, so it’s hard to capture nice, crisp drops. But this, in itself, this drawing in (embracing, possession, seizing…) of the water, may express something about the dandelion seed we might not have thought about before.
