    • I’m glad you like them. I’m still very much a beginner with these kinds of shots and am experimenting a lot!

    • Thank you, Tobias! I have very little experience taking photographs of horses, so I am really still figuring out what the heck I’m doing and what I actually want to achieve with these images. I appreciate your encouragement!

  3. These are great! I love the last one. Do you think he or she is trying to tell you something?

    March 4, 2012 at 12:59 pm

    • Thank you, Jennifer! That last one is so funny. I think he is actually talking to the horse next to him. They were rubbing heads and had quite a bit to say to each other. This was the end of the conversation. I guess he had had enough. 🙂

    • Thank you so much for your encouragement I love horses, too, but have almost no experience photographing them, so I’m still learning what it is I’d like to capture, or rather figuring out HOW to capture what I find so amazing about them.

    March 4, 2012 at 5:32 pm

    • Thanks, Joanna. Taking photographs of horses is completely new ground for me. I find it very challenging (well, and exciting, for that very reason). They are such majestic animals and I find I have a lot to learn about how I want to go about capturing the incredible animals I see before me.

      • Horses are majestic and I have the privilege to photograph my colleagues horses one day…can’t wait! It’s new to me too, so time will tell how I would manage 😉

    Hi

A very nice series of photos. I may have to try some cow closeups the next time I am at the farm.

I love the first one, as it has a nice emotion to it; but the third one, ah, I can almost feel the breath blowing out from those nostrils 🙂

    • Thanks, Yas! The horse in the 3rd one was so curious about my camera! They are such amazing animals. You are so fortunate to be so close to them, as you are. The photographs you have been posting from Italy are amazing!
