    • Thanks, Pam! I need to get my “Lemony Squeezes” hat on and come over to see what Sam’s been up to lately.

  2. I love the lace-like quality

    • These decaying leaves do look like lace and this is what first attracted me to them. I debated about whether to post them in color because they are actually a delicious antique cream color (with some “toasted” leaves here and there), which of course enhances the lace-like quality you mention. However, I was aiming for something else today, so I went with the B & W. Thank you for stopping by, Lance!

  3. The more I look at these, the more I keep expecting to see a little pair of eyes looking back at me from one of the deep shadows…mysterious!

    • I can see why you might expect that. 🙂 Thank you for this comment. I haven’t forgotten your email, by the way, and will reply soon! (I’ve just gotten that message from the server telling me my “mailbox is full,” which means I’m terribly, terribly behind on my messages.)

  4. again you succeed in balancing on the verge of abstraction – some support to hold on to, lots of room to let go – wonderful !
