No Trespassing

I just know there are treasures to be photographed in this abandonned old place.  But there is a No Trespassing Sign posted on the property.  Hmmmm.  Would anyone really ever know?  I just have to know what’s in there.  I’m sure there must be some fabulous rusted junk just begging to be captured. “Leeeeemony….. Leeeeemony….”

  1. As long as you don’t break and take, not big problem in my eye, some things just need to be captured 😉

    • Ha ha ha. Steve, how do you know me so well?! 🙂 I’m thinking now with all this encouragement that I may risk it, next time I go by this place. Stay tuned.

    Dear Lemony,
I can’t help waiting for the rest of the story….
I’m sure you have for us hidden treasures somewhere.

    • Ahhh, this brings such a smile to my face. Such a lovely comment. I do hope I can deliver the rest of the story. I guess I’m going to have to do some exploring next time I pass by this old building.

  4. These are great! And I have such a thing for abandoned places, so this sure hit the spot…I say go for it, go inside, go and find those ‘treasure’s, it’s so worth it.

    • Thanks for this encouragement. I think I must have to do it! I’m so grateful for your comment, thank you.

  5. You know you’re going in. You must. Once the urge is planted, it must be satisfied. Just watch your step, be sure someone knows you’re there and check in with them when you’re safely out again, and show us what’s there!

    • You’re right… I’m going in… This is good advice you offer here, thank you. I’ll make a plan for next time I travel past this old place. I’m excited just thinking about it, now!

  6. Haha, are you going to get in there?
You should, I would love to see what’s in that mysteryous place 🙂

    • I think I’m going to do it! Next time I go by there, I may just rush in there and get some shots as fast as I can. 🙂

  7. usually such signs are posted to absolve the owners of any responsibility should kids playing about suddenly injure themselves. of course, the boring way is to just ask permission. I like these.

    • That’s a good point, Lance. I hadn’t thought about the sign potentially being more about protecting the owners. I might take the boring route, if I knew whom to ask. I’m going to look around a bit more next time I’m in that area and see if anyone might have some information. Thank you for visiting! It’s great to have you here.

Well shot. You might be told to take off, but fortune favors the brave and so does photography.

    • I did desaturate a bit (you, with your very observant eyes noticed this). The sky that day was a actually crisp, bright blue.

    The de-saturation is very effective.

  12. What a fantastic old pile…..I’ll add my pennyworth to the ‘go for it and bug*er the consequences’ argument, though I doubt you’ll find anything inside as fantastic as the outside….
    Smashing photos…..
