Railcar Springs (The Rusty Adventure Continues)

What can I say…. They’re springs.  Fabulous, rusty, giant springs.

    • Thanks, Pablo. I love the shapes of these springs, and their crusty, rusty surfaces really caught my eye.

    • Thanks, Stuart. I’m sure I had a few that didn’t make the final cut. 🙂 I took LOTS!

  5. Great perspective. I don’t know why but the springs remind me of stacks of cookies.

Melanie, these are wonderful, of course. I enjoy your world view…a sort of microcosmic view. You probably have a dozen awards, but I just gave you another: The Liebster Award. I like what you photograph, what you say, and the fact that your blog doesn’t advertise you. (The work stands alone to speak for itself. I only figured out your name from a comment.) I hope you don’t mind receiving the award. Ignore it or pass it along to some new blogger who has under 200 followers. I’m sure you probably have more than the number of followers to qualify, but I don’t care. I just wanted to thank you for encouraging me and to tell you how much I like your work.

    • George, I am honored that you, of all people, would nominate me for the Liebster Award! Although we have only just recently discovered one another through our blogs, I think your blog (and your voice) is one of the most interesting and original blogs I’ve ever come across. I look forward to your posts with genuine enthusiasm. Thank you very much for the recognition!
