And then it snowed.

Before I move on entirely, I thought I could give proof that I do actually look UP from time to time. :-)

While landscapes, or rather pondscapes in this case, are not my forte, you might be interested to see where I took all of the shots that I featured over the last month and a half.

    • Yes, later into our time there it became skatable. We’ve brought along skates in the past, but this year I had a cracked rib (from pneumonia), and so wasn’t interested in further injury. My partner did bring along her skates, but she never did put them on this time. Our little one was just happy slip sliding all over the place like a maniac on her snow boots, and, really, that is just as much fun (and without the ankle pain).

    • :-) I’ve always thought it strange that they call them ponds in Maine, but they measure ponds and lakes by depth there (unlike in other states). Externally, it has more the appearance of a lake.

  1. Beautiful sequence. I knew you had sky in your part of the world, but it is nice to get confirmation. Wouldn’t want to have a distorted picture of reality. :D

    • Ha ha ha! :-D I see you’ve made one of your wonderful visits. I love it when you stop in and stay for a while. Thank you so much for your many comments. I’m going to go read and enjoy them all!
