Now it is 2: Am —– I may get bed 3: but some time
4: or 5: — if I got to type in Japanese, (to reply Eml)
it takes quite long time.
I have no sleeping pattern = in fact, I can continue 2 days
no sleep or, if I like I can sleep afternoon or any time
I’m not sure whether it is good or bad though, I spend
too much time in the mountain shelter (such as to search
lost person etc) or to deal with Court case as Litigant
in Person (without Lawyer = to compile document myself)
or write article and sort-out photos to send it to Japan.
—– Deadline is the Must to meet !
or even dancing in a Club to next morning etc etc —-
Hence, I got used to deal with it regardless a time of the day.
Also, I can keep doing (hence forget eating) up to 3 days
then after that, eat 3 times of food in one go etc etc
Wow, I don’t think I would be able to operate like that. Certainly not with any regularity. Who knows though. Maybe I’m just assuming it, since I’ve never really tried it. But let’s just say I know I need my sleep!
Good night !
Thank you!
Wrinkled bubbles! I never knew there was such a thing.
Thank you, Denzil. All of these shots are from the same pond in Maine. There must be something about the way it freezes that makes for such interesting bubbles and shapes beneath the surface. Thanks for your nice words.
This is amazing….I love ice and your photos capture some of its mystery perfectly. The temperatures here in Scotland ave finally dropped below zero again, so hopefully I will get to play with some ice photos myself
Thank you so much for your very nice words and recent visit (I’m a bit behind in responding). I’ll stop in soon to see what you’re up to. Hope you’ve had some ice your way, as well (in a good, creative way, I mean ).
Mmmm. Reminds me of micro-organisms travelling through a body. Jolly good, Melanie.
I can see what you mean, like blood platelets in a way. I hadn’t thought of that! Thanks!
I can agree with you. It looks really strange
So strange, I wasn’t quite sure how to title it. BTW, do you actually sleep?
I mean that jokingly, but it seems like you must be able to function very well on very little sleep.

I’ve come across bubbles I never expected at this point. So now, I’m expecting bubbles of all shapes and textures.
How do you find so many interesting ice designs? You posted a lot of really cool shots!

Maybe the most intriguing yet. But it’s too hard to qualify, they are all fabulous.
Thanks, Elena. That means a lot to me coming from you.
They look like little diamonds. Beautiful photo
Thank you, Maralee.
Brilliant! The shot’s got the composition of the cover of a science fiction novel. Great shot, Melanie!
Thank you so much, Richard. I love that idea! Now I just have to write the novel.
They look like three planet earths!
Interesting! Thanks, Carissa!

Superb. The invasion has begun – the question is where. The mind, the body, outer or inner space ?
It’s all of the above… mind, body, outer and inner space. Of course.
Yes, flying saucers and an alien landscape. Beyond cool!
Thanks so much, Karen. The pond is taking on a different character.
Fantastic!
Thanks! I’m so glad you like it!
I can see all of these in a gallery…yes, I can…wow….
The whole pond series, I mean…wouldn’t that be something…? SO pretty, Melanie….
Wow! Thank you so much! I am really humbled by the idea.
You’re welcome…and I think it’s a wonderful idea…seriously….
